“The best way to treat the human and financial costs of diabetes, heart attacks and strokes is to avoid them." - Dr. David Wright
The Mid-South Center for Prevention & Wellness was founded on medical technology created by Dr. David Wright. He is the author of the MIDLIFE WEIGHT GAIN: HARBINGER OF DIABETES,which can be read by clicking on the link. The article discusses his life long passion during his 25-years of private practice of keeping patients healthier and reducing the amount of time they spent in the hospital. Dr. Wright has developed an approach that clearly identifies early risk for heart attack, stroke, and diabetes, and provides the tools to eliminate that risk.
One of the tools that Dr. Wright provides is software which he makes available to corporate and clinical clients. This application takes the guess work out of assessing clients and prescribing changes to improve their health.
Another resource of Dr. Wright's are his partnerships. With relationships with the Cleveland HeartLab, Provant Health, Diagnostic Partners and PCS Medical Solutions; clinical providers like the Mid-South Center for Prevention & Wellness are able to deliver customized solutions for indvidual and corporate clients of any size, anywhere in the country. These partnerships help show that Cardiac, Stroke and Diabetes are not just treatable, but they are preventable and the effects can be reversed in some cases.
At th Mid-South Center for Prevention & Wellness, we plan to leverage this combination of 35 nontraditional clinical diagnostic tests, so our medical and clinical professionals can use the results to customize each patient's prevention plan.
